Project A: Research Paper

For this project for Building Science, we are required to choose a research topic and carry out research studies related to the topic, using relevant and necessary software. We are grouped in fours, and for our group, we had decided to base our research on wind chimney. In purpose for this research, we had based our study on the Shalini Ganendra Fine Art Gallery, which is the first and only building in Malaysia featuring the wind chimney, by this time.

Located in Petaling Jaya, in a residence area beside a bustling highway. The wind chimney has two openings, facing the North and South directions. The wind that are "catched" will be channeled down the shaft and are directed to the spaces below by louvers.
