Project 1: ​Timeline and Diagram Analysis
This is our first project for the Culture and History II module, and it is a group project which we are required to study and analyse a given building, ours being the Wisma Angkasapuri, or the Wisma RTM.
We are required to study the building and create precedent diagrams based on the analysis.
Project 2: Report
The second project of this module require us to generate a report based on a specific building, and for us it is the Wisma Angkasapuri. Each member are responsible for different parts of the report. For my part, I am responsible for the construction, structure and material analysis for the building.
The Wisma angkasapuri building consist of three blocks, and it houses the Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM). Concrete "Shields" that mimic the form of a horseshoe crab acts as a facade and helps to shield the building from direct sunlight. Glass, metal, timber,concrete, ceramic, and asbestos are used in construction of the Wisma Angkasapuri building.
The circulation and organization of space:
The concrete "shields" in the form of horseshoe crab: It is made from concrete and are fixed to the facade by joint.
It shields the building from direct sunlight, also gives the building a unique appearance.
Metal rings form a special pattern and forms a screening on the entrance block to not only decorate the facade but also provides some degree of shelter from sunlight.

The entrance block have roofs that curves and overhangs over the block, featuring a sense of Islamic feature and by the same time protects the building from direct sunlight.
